IAESTE > INTERNSHIPS > How do they work? HOW DO THEY WORK?IAESTE works on an annual schedule divided into three stages: - During the initial stage (October through December), all internship offers placed by Spanish companies are gathered. All the members of IAESTE actively engage in getting in touch with local companies and institutions and establishing specific collaboration deals with them. - Subsequently, all the offers are processed and exchanged with other countries during the IAESTE General Conference, which takes place in January. The exchange is carried out taking into account the specific needs of each company, and the offers are granted to the countries with the best candidates. IAESTE España brings back the same quantity of offers in order to distribute them among Spanish students. - At the last stage, scholarships are granted to candidates matching the required profile. Applications are sent to the participating companies and institutions for their evaluation. Once the applications have been accepted, internships are scheduled. They usually take place between July and September, but they may also start in a different period and have various durations. |
